The file represents MicroCosmoTalk's first public NASM support. It took a good deal of work to get the Table of Contents set up.

We recently, 2007 April, produced content for the index tab. Feel free to contact us inside the alt.lang.asm newsgroup to offer any suggestions or help.

NASM represents the Netwide Assembler. Visit the NASM website at http://nasm.sourceforge.net/.

64-bit support for this compiler (supporting ELF64 and other formats), exists in prerelease state in April 2007.

CHMs are sets of html documents, stylesheets, javascript files (or vbscript files), images and other files compiled into a single file. The end result equates to a nicely compressed file and possibly a very nice presentation, with full search capabilities, table of contents and indexing all built in. Usually, they can be decompiled back into the original starting set of files. You need to get the compiler/decompiler by downloading it free of charge from Microsoft, and follow the steps listed below.

  1. Download the Microsoft HTML Help Workshop.

  2. Start up the HTMLHelp Compiler after installing it. The name of the file is hhw.exe and you find it in the folder where the HTML Help Workshop was installed.

  3. Click upon "File".

  4. Click upon Decompile. We leave the rest up to you.

Use h2incn to convert C++ header (.h) files to NASM compatible include (.inc) files. No warranty is provided. Use at your own risk. Thanks goes to Frank Kotler who also provides C99 compatible source code.
