MASM/ML Compilers
Microsoft provides the ML compiler and other compilers free of charge. Most of the licensing agreements for these compilers gets displayed during the installation. Microsoft provides multiple compiler sets currently. One they call the Windows Driver Kit, another they call the Platform Software Developers Kit, and further, another one they call the Windows Device Driver Kit. MASM compiled programs in the past. Today, ML compiles assembly language.
