Acknowledgements
We would like to acknowledge a Polish lady in Chicago. Unfortunately, we only remember the first name of her grand-son, and his name was/is David. I was seven years old when she spit in my brother's right eye. He had pink-eye (conjunctivitis) that day. And she said saliva represented a natural cure for pink-eye. And sure enough, it cured my brother's pink-eye. She spit in his eye in 1975.
